How to choose a suit?

Three things about a suit make people notice the person and not their clothes. These are the fit, the fabric and finesse.

 

Fit

The line and balance of a suit, i.e. the fit, is paramount. There are so many different aspects involved in making a suit that fits perfectly. One of the most important is how your suit fits around your shoulders. In making a jacket to measure, everything should hang from the shoulders. It is therefore critical that the shoulder measurements are perfect.   

 

Fabric 

It is important to ensure the fabric of your suit is chosen to suit your lifestyle. There is no point wearing a suit that fits perfectly when the fabric does not work. There are three things about the fabric that you need to look at..

* Does the fabric colour suit you ?
* How easily will the fabric crease?
* Is the fabric of manmade or natural fibres ?

Finesse 
Finally Finesse is the result of making the correct decisions with respect to the fit and suit fabric. If you are wearing a suit that moves with you. it does not matter what your figure looks like.
